Chelsea are on the verge of completing the signing of Barcelona youngster Marc Guiu, as reported by Marca. The 18-year-old emerged onto the first-team scene during the 2023/2024 season and concluded the season with two goals in seven matches in various competitions. Despite interest from Bayern Munich, Chelsea has activated Guiu’s £5 million release clause. It is known that the newly appointed Chelsea manager, Enzo Maresca, has had multiple discussions with Guiu. Maresca intends to integrate the teenager into the first team for the upcoming season.
