Reflecting on the Lenten season preceding Easter, Captain Traoré noted:
“After forty days of profound spiritual discipline, prayer, and self-denial, Christians across Burkina Faso and the world today celebrate the glorious Resurrection of Christ—a testament to hope, redemption, and the victory of light over darkness.
While extending his greetings, the Burkinabé leader also invoked divine favor upon the nation, particularly its armed forces engaged in ongoing counterterrorism operations.
