Arsenal scored two goals deep into injury time to defeat Manchester United in a dramatic game.
Manchester United took the lead in the 27th minute of the game when Christian Eriksen delivered an outstanding pass to Marcus Rashford, who cut inside and sent the ball past Arsenal’s goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale.
The Gunners, who had missed some golden opportunities earlier in the game, quickly leveled the score when captain Martin Odegaard found too much space and delivered an emphatic finish into the bottom corner.
The match, which was filled with controversies, saw Arsenal awarded a penalty that was later overturned by VAR. There was another glorious late opportunity for Arsenal when Bukayo Saka shot straight at Andre Onana.
Manchester United’s celebrations were cut short with three minutes left in regular time when substitute Garnacho broke clear to score, but the VAR also ruled out the goal.
