Otti to inaugurate construction of 41.5 kilometers of roads in Abia North

Governor Alex Otti is scheduled to officially commence the construction of the 30-kilometer Arochukwu – Ndiokereke – Ozuabam road on Wednesday. The Commissioner for Information, Prince Okey Kanu, revealed this during a press briefing following the State Executive Council meeting in Umuahia. Additionally, the Governor will inaugurate the 11.5-kilometer Nunya -Eluama -Isuikwuato road in a week’s time.

It has been just a month since the Governor initiated the reconstruction of the Umuahia -Uzuakoli – Akara road and the Abiriba-Ohafia road. Commissioner Kanu emphasized Otti’s prioritization of road infrastructure due to its pivotal role in expediting economic growth.

He articulated, “This aligns with the State government’s strategic initiative for road infrastructure development.
