Ex-Kogi Gov’s son dies in Abuja

On a sorrowful Wednesday, Alhaji Ibrahim Idris (Ibro), the former Governor of Kogi state, faced the heartbreaking loss of his beloved son, Mohammed, in the bustling city of Abuja.

Mohammed, following in his father’s political footsteps, had admirably served as the representative for Ankpa, Olamaboro, and Omala Federal Constituency of Kogi State in the revered House of Representatives during his father’s gubernatorial tenure.

Tragically, the younger Idris reportedly collapsed and passed away at his Abuja residence shortly after his return from the Eid-el-Fitr festivities within the city.

Sources revealed that he was laid to rest in accordance with Islamic customs at the serene Gudu Cemetery following a poignant funeral prayer held at the revered National Mosque in the heart of Abuja.
