Secretary Hegseth Calls Out Democrats.

In a fiery rebuttal to recent criticism, Secretary Pete Hegseth has slammed Democrats and media outlets for spreading what he calls a “false narrative” regarding a $137,297 repair bill for his government residence. Hegseth, a prominent political commentator and former U.S. Army officer, clarified that the repairs were pre-approved by the Department of Defense (DoD) and had nothing to do with his personal decisions.

The controversy erupted after reports surfaced about the hefty repair costs, with critics suggesting misuse of taxpayer funds. However, Hegseth was quick to set the record straight, emphasizing that the repairs were part of standard maintenance procedures for government-owned properties and were fully authorized by the DoD.

“They don’t care about facts, they’re just Trump haters,” Hegseth said, accusing his detractors of politicizing the issue to attack him and, by extension, former President Donald Trump, whom he has consistently supported. Hegseth’s blunt response underscores the deepening partisan divide in Washington, where even routine government expenditures are often weaponized for political gain.
